Dementia Awareness Training Programmes

Enhance your knowledge and practice with courses designed for immediate impact and long-term development.

I offer face-to-face commissioned training in training venues or in-house (Care Homes, Hospitals, Day Services, Community Care Services, Health Centres, Shops, Place of Worships, etc…). I also offer ‘open’ courses, coaching and mentoring services, on-line learning, conference presentations and workshops and Service or Profession specific bespoke training.

My training is underpinned by current best practice, policy and legislation aimed at enabling those living with dementia to live well. My training is designed to help Services achieve more than just CQC Essential Standards for people living with dementia.

I am passionately committed to person-centred practice, which ensures all my learners feel valued, respected and involved in their learning process to achieve the very best experience

Skill Enhancement Workshops

I pride myself on my adaptability and commitment to excellence in every aspect of the service.

I love nothing more than running 'hands-on', practical workshops to help learners master new skills and refine existing ones effectively.

Dementia Care Setting Assessments

I can support you with reviewing how effective your dementia care setting is.

I have a range of tools to help assess and measure the effectiveness of the care environment, including:

  • The impact of the physical environment of the Care Setting on the lived experience of people with dementia, their relatives, staff and visitors.
  • The impact of staff behaviour on their sense of well-being as well as the well-being of people with dementia and their relatives.
